Author Guidelines

The Kosovo International Journal of Engineering and Technology (KIJET) welcomes original and high-quality manuscripts that have not been previously published or submitted elsewhere. Authors are required to follow the guidelines below to ensure a smooth review and publication process.

Types of Manuscripts

KIJET accepts the following types of submissions:

Research Articles
Review Articles
Short Communications
Case Studies
Editorials

Language

All manuscripts must be written in English and should be clear, concise, and grammatically correct.

Manuscript Preparation

Manuscripts should be prepared using Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format.
The manuscript should include:
- Title
- Abstract
- Keywords
- Main text
- References
Author names and affiliations must be submitted separately to ensure a double-blind peer-review process.

Abstract and Keywords

The abstract should not exceed 250 words.
Authors should provide 3–6 keywords relevant to the manuscript.

Word Limits

Research Articles: 5,000–8,000 words
Review Articles: 6,000–10,000 words
Short Communications: 2,000–3,000 words
Case Studies: 3,000–5,000 words

References

References should be prepared according to the APA citation style.
All references must be cited in the text and listed at the end of the manuscript.

Peer Review Process

All submissions are subject to a double-blind peer-review process by at least two independent reviewers. The editorial decision is based on reviewers’ reports and the academic merit of the manuscript.

Publication Ethics

Authors must comply with the journal’s Publication Ethics and declare any conflicts of interest. Plagiarism and unethical practices are not tolerated.

Open Access Policy

KIJET is an open-access journal, providing immediate and free access to published content.

Submission Process

Manuscripts must be submitted online through the journal’s submission system.
